Dr. Yasmine Mohamed (MBChB, FRACGP)

I graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from Alexandria University in 2010. Following migration to Australia, I continued practicing medicine as the obstetrics & gynecology and emergency medicine SRMO in the Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District and at the Cairns Hospital. I then moved to Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District as an emergency registrar. With the extended experience in women’s health and critical care medicine, I then decided to join the RACGP fellowship training program which I completed in 2021.

My medical interests include women’s health, antenatal care, postnatal care, breastfeeding consult, family planning, contraception counseling, and preventive medicine. Besides being a doctor, I am a full-time mum of a lovely 8-year-old boy and I enjoy the beach and nature more than anything else in my life. I have a passion for photography and dream about traveling around the world with my son.
